A tv news report this morning has said, THE MOTHER OF THE 14 YEAR OLD WHO SHOT THE CHILDERN AND TWO TEACHERS IN GEORGIA CALLED THE AUTHORITIES 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOOTING.
Makes me think why honest citizens want to self protect themselves and family.
Do you really want to depend on the AUTHORITIES?

I may be a conspiracy theorist, but I believe in some, definitely not all, situations such as this there are sinister motives behind the deaf ears. After all, they can always say they had reasons not to take it seriously, all the while knowing otherwise. They need these to keep the gun control narrative alive. People always ask, why wasn’t more done? I hope I’m wrong, but I believe it’s like Covid, we need to get the fear index up high enough to make their tyrannical plans a reality. Amazing how fast people give up freedoms for the illusion of safety.

In reality the gun control narrative is keeping the anti-gun control narrative alive. I will try to concentrate on keeping the responsibly armed narrative alive.

When I was growing up in the 50’s there was no talk of school shootings and there was no narratives to speak of. Although I wasn’t yet old enough to buy a gun, I remember the only paperwork to buy a gun was the cash register receipt. What’s falling on deaf ears is simply the decay in our society. People, including kids and their parents are no longer held accountable. If you got caught with drugs for instance, there was no sympathy and rehab, only bars on the windows of your new residence. There’s only one reason for the narratives, like every dictator to come before, they can’t take total control without disarmament of the people, and you need fear to accomplish this. So in essence, you are correct, they keep our narrative alive, and the only reason for theirs is subjugation of the people.This is our real fight.

With 400,000,000 guns I don’t see how being disarmed can even come into play. All that is is politics.

Absolutely correct. But what they can accomplish is to progressively restrict your ability to bring those guns out of hiding. Just look how far it’s gone in California and Hawaii and a slew of other states. You were correct in stating we need to keep our dialogue going in support of 2A. We don’t want to become an Australia or Canada or worse, a UK. Defund the Police and fund the crooks is not a recipe for safety or freedom.

The ‘Problem’ Robert (IMHO) is THEY ARE FIGHTING ENOUGH
for what they believe RIGHT NOW. They believe in Citizen disarmament,
Bigger .gov, dissolve the 2A and a host of other nefarious Restrictions and Illegal
Laws to choke the Freedoms right out of the Citizenry.
Hawaii is simply following Californians play book.
Hawaii is just taking ‘Wokeness’ to a whole new level and it seems ‘the people’
are blissfully following behind the band wagon.
The question I have is when will ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ wake the muck up?
We Lost New York, Chicago, Minnesota, MOST of California (the only thing separating
California from the others is the Gunner’s here stating a lot of CA aren’t buying what the Socialists are selling) But San Fran, LA are GONE! Sh!tholes! and all people can say is I want a Burger flipper to make $30 an hour!. Otherwise the other States seem to be blissfully following their Pied Pipers right down to the docks and ready to jump in and drown.
How else can you explain the massive destruction of these States (Homelessness. public
defecation/drug use, Defund the Police, Pro BLM, Tampons in Boy’s bathrooms, and on and on and on.) Folk’s should be SCREAMING WTF! Yet the Politician’s keep destroying Laws and Everyday life, Prices are outta control and 40%+ keep saying ‘Klamidia is the answer!’
Lastly, how in the world can we still be TRUSTING the likes of Newsome, the Clinton’s and the Obummer’s? Pelosi is still breathing, Pudding while rancid is still in the game. It makes no bloody sense? And some of us STILL think our VOTE is going to count! Astounding!
If they cheat their way into the Big Chair (again) we are DOOMED!

Well I believe in disarming the criminal element. Not total disarmament. Total criminal disarmament. Then all we would need guns for his hunting and target shooting. I don’t think anybody thinks, we can disarm the whole population without first disarming the criminals.
