Facial recognition is built into every smart phone and Windows 11’s lock screen. Worrying about how government might use it is a horse that long ago left the barn and ran down the road into the next county.

That is so true, but it’s not just Big Brother…

I recently traveled by air from Colorado, to a connection in Dallas, and on to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I had checked a rifle and was worried that it would disappear in the bowels of the baggage handling system at 3 different airports. I placed a Samsung Smart Tag in the rifle bag. It allowed me to track the location of the bag. It works by “hijacking” any Android device that comes near it and relaying the GPS coordinates of the nearby Android device back to me. Apple has a similar device, and Tile devices also work the same. Cheap tracking device that I bought for around $50.
