The established centrist middle of the party, basically the old white men/women with liberal views, now have their chickens come home to roost and they are NOT liking what they spawned. So they have found themselves fighting with what they themselves created!
Chucky Schumer is surely enjoying THIS ride now that AOC will be challenging him in the primaries…

Here is the issue in the US we have 2 viable political parties that raise money and push their candidates forward using the money they raised. This pretty much eliminates 3rd Parties and Independents from being viable candidates because they simply lack the financial ability to get their message to the people. David Hogg thought he could attach his little wagon to the DNC and force them to convert to his ideology and is now realizing he has nothing. Will he be removed by the DNC, absolutely you don’t get elected into a position and then tell those with the purse you are going to work against members of your own party who won’t support your anti-2nd Amendment policies. This is a rookie mistake we see time and time again with young people who are getting into politics. They believe because their platform maybe popular with select voters that it needs to be adopted by the establishment and the establishment is in it’s position today because for decades they understand their voters. David Hogg’s only claim to fame is he was in a school shooting, that sucks bro, but it does not mean every American is ready to surrender their Constitutional Right to own firearms, no matter how many kids died at your school. Tragedies happen, idealist like Hogg think they will prevent the next tragedy, they won’t. And trying to turn an entire Party into an anti-gun party is not going to win elections. There are certain parts of the country where being anti-gun works with the voters, generally large metropolitan areas where crime is a problem mainly due to extreme poverty. But for a vast majority of Americans who rarely if ever see crime, it’s not a problem. I live in Portland, I am not worried about being shot by some rando on the streets. I am not worried about home invasions or being robbed, raped, or murdered. Violent crime in my city is pretty much limited to criminal on criminal crime.

Well can’t blame him much. He is seeing how the “country” seems to react to AOC (traveling around the USA with the semi-dead Bernie in corporate jets to rock concert type crowds) and how the squad gets celebrated by the news media, and I can understand how he feels he’s next in line, an even younger version of those fringe players. It seems, at least from the outside, to be the growing faction in the Big D party.

Meanwhile, these green freaks are telling us not to fly while they’re dumping more CO2 into the atmosphere in a couple of hours than my car in a year! Personally, I don’t think the CO2 is a problem, but someone telling me what I shouldn’t do while they themselves have no qualms about it…that I have a problem with.
