I see no flaw in your actions. What’s an MIL?

What is a “FA?”

FireArm

Firearm is one word. Do you abbreviate “automobile” as AB or AM?

I still think FA is “Field Artillery.” It confuses me every time someone here uses it to mean Firearm. Like, how do you conceal carry a howitzer?

FWIW, I abbreviate “automobile” with three letters: car.

Agreed, FA is not an abbreviation of firearm (one word), the word “gun” is an acceptable usage in this forum. Trying to create a new abbreviation/acronym for a valid, widely understood, and acceptable word, is pointless.

This is my rifle, this is my gun… :sunglasses:

Got it, no more acronyms for me, I have updated original post to replace “FA” with “firearm”. Also replaced “MIL” with “Mother-In-Law”

Well said, I agree

If the charge was dismissed, what legal reason did the police give to keep your firearm? That it was too nice and the chief of police took a liking to it?

Exactly! what’s the point of carrying a concealed weapon if you aren’t going to set yourself up to be at a tactical advantage in your positioning. To not do so is to give up a lot that could be working in your favor

I agree with everything you did except leaving the firearm in your truck!

Don’t forget that we have some very gun friendly police chiefs, AG & Governor in FL!
