At 83 years old I EDC a Glock 43X with Holosun 507K green dot. I am waiting availability to buy the new factory Glock 15 round mags for the setup. I have smaller hands so the 43X is better for me than the previous Glock 19s, P80, and LoneWolf builds. Sighted in for 10 meters, it takes me longer to present then when I was younger. As always, practice, practice, and practice some more!

I use a HKVP9SK. Basically its the VP9 with a smaller barrel and a We The People IWB Holster. Nothing fancy, but it shoots well and works really well for a lefty like myself. Also own the VP9 with the 4.1 inch barrel. Iron sights for both, at age 69 I keep telling myself its “almost” time to get an optic. Almost

I’m one of the strange ones. I have a rotation for EDC. I currently rotate between Smith and Wesson Performance Center Shield Plus Carry Comp, Smith and Wesson CSX E Series, and Arex Delta M Gen 2 (which is close to a Sig Sauer P365xl). I change the rotation once in a while, as I now have my Shield Plus in 30 Super Carry out of my rotation for other duties. I have a few more I’m comfortable with that may switch my rotation, like my Derya DY9, Glock 47 (using a 19 slide), or my Daniel H9. But they go back to the range with me when I do that as I don’t shoot defensive rounds when I am just target shooting them.

Thank God!! Seriously it is great to hear someone else uses them. I see so much u tube videos knocking them and honestly in 4 years I have never had a problem. And they aren’t expensive. I have used them at IDPA matches, tactical shooting events and lots of dry fire and its good. Sorry for the rant.
