The first time I went to Front sight for firearm training, I decided I was going to to take the attitude that I didn’t know anything. I’ve been shooting all my life. You know what? It turns out I didn’t know anything! So, with firearms training, have a humble attitude and you’ll learn twice as much as you would if you go as a ā€œknow it all.ā€
This video brings up some great points. I’m going to watch it several times to let his training topics sink in.

All that is what I, too, have been trained about the draw. My trainers across some 20 years have been tier 1 operators, other special teams military, special teams law enforcement. And I’m just a civilian puke.
