Do you get calls or texts from pollsters?

I get a lot of requests to take polls for the presidential race. I always decline by blocking the number. (NO texting “STOP” to be removed from this list) If pollsters are getting any type of data that might be beneficial to the evil side I don’t want to be a party to it. I’d rather be a part of the silent majority. What is your take on presidential polling?

It was said above…,so I say….
Don’t know if they are legitimate or not so block all of them all!

I tell them to loose my number, hang up, and block.:dotted_line_face:

Oops… :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
I did another approach… I declared to be a fanatic Democrat and convinced the guy that I would vote for Kamala Harris, because she is the future of this Country… I made him happy, he wished me a great day and I came back to my work.

For me it was win-win situation. Pollster got a data that fits the Chicago area, I know he won’t call me again, I’ll vote against the info provided to make America Great Again. :slightly_smiling_face:

The ones I have seen give multiple choice questions. My answers are not among the choices.

I don’t do phone ones but I will do the ones mailed to me depending on who set them.

Most of the ones I get have please donate at the bottom…like a lot of folks, I don’t reply . Really don’t know if is legit or who would get the money.

constantly. Straight to the spam folder with all of them. Have repeatedly tried to “opt out” and “stop” and all that. they just send it from a different computer generated phone number over and over.

it is 99% of the time some democrat candidate as well.

I get them constantly. I’m starting to think I should skew every poll and say I’m for Comrade.

Just for fun I have been known to say none of the above. Then, when they ask about who I want I’ll say Ronald Reagan. That normally shuts them up. Or, I just don’t answer the phone or make huge use of the delete and block.

It depends. If they come with an envelope that is “postage paid if mailed in the U.S.”, I would. Responses would all be preceded by “Once upon a time…” and end with “happily ever after…” So far, they always forget the PP envelope. I love being in that group known as “3-4% Margin of error…”

Nope, Not a single call from a National or Local Pollster, Ever. I’d be inclined to feed them a line of happy horse aaaa you know the thing. Maybe that’s why they never call me.

I haven’t had any political surveys or telemarketer calls since I pulled the plug on my landline. My caller ID had a memory of 35 calls, only 2 that I recognized. The money I save from pulling the plug pays for my new cell plan.

Usually I just toss them in the trash or don’t answer. But occasionally I will check to see if it has a prepaid if mailed in the US statement. If it does I’ll load it up as thick as I can other junk mail, candy wrappers, old newspapers or whatever is handy. I’m usually quickly removed from mailing lists.

I’ve never received a political poll to my recollection. Not in any form.

If I don’t know the number I don’t answer unless I am expecting a call.

A friend of mine has a habit for unwanted pre-paid. He gets a brick, wraps it nicely and tapes the PP envelope to it and sends it out.
