The plandemic showed tyrants how surprisingly easy it is.
Well said!! It is all part of their plan. Next, they will “need” to disarm honest citizens to keep things safe. Good luck with that!
They have proven that they can’t do it by law. Next they try by force.
This was the first thought I had when I started reading the article. I would have no problem with using the national guard to help regain control of the cities these politicians have handed over to the criminals. They could be standing ready as a show of force to discourage criminals and respond to active threats. But everyone should be up in arms over these blatant 4th Amendment violations.
But most Americans will gladly give up their rights and freedoms in hopes of gaining a little safety. By the time they realize that their rights and freedoms were the only thing keeping them safe it will be too late. The ACLU should be all over this ASAP if they truly care about civil rights.
The ACLU couldn’t be bothered with defending actual rights…
If they want to fix NYC, sent the troops home and allow every law abiding citizen with a CC License from any state (including NY state which they do NOT recognize in NYC!!!) to legally carry their guns in the Subway. Once a few of these scum bags lawfully become room temperature because they picked the wrong “victim” the rest will crawl back into the ratholes they came out of.
You don’t see this nonsense in Lubbock, Texas or anywhere in ND do you…
I was actually looking for a little good news, now I have more reasons to sleep with both eyes open!
Disarming us might be easier than we think!
They have F-15 fighter jets, I have a Toyota Camry.
They are issued The M4/M4A1 5.56mm Carbine in a lightweight, gas operated, air cooled, magazine fed, selective rate, shoulder fired weapon with a collapsible stock. It is now the standard issue firearm for most units in the U.S. military.
I have ( or lost at sea ) an AR15 the most dangerous assault weapon in the world. Capable of firing 3,000 rounds in a single clip and one single round can blow out a lung! Selectively fired one round per trigger pull, air cooled, shoulder fired with a collapsing stock and it’s scary black. Not those flat dark earth colored toys you saw in the subway!
Guess that makes us even!
@Scott52 greetings from this California “educator”
You have a 1911 in 7.62?
That would be a huge grip!
I have big hands…
Where do I get one!?!???
“You know what they say about a guy who has Big Hands and Big Feet right”?
Big Gloves and big Shoes!
He’s compensating for something else???
Wait that’s Uber lifted trucks and fart can mufflers….
Big hands take more baby powder for b!+(# slaps?
Uhffffff, I had one in .44 mag! LAR Grizzly! That was a beast of a handgun and beautifully made, but unfortunately it became a collectors piece and too expensive to shoot and risk breaking something since no one was making replacement parts or magazines. So I sold it.
@Eugene67 Welcome to the community!
@Will_B Glad those aren’t Ghost Guns, cause we can actually see them! and they aren’t assault weapons either! Just ordinary tools!
What guns?
Welcome
The national guard are not federal troops …they are state troops unless activated by congress in time of war
The ACLU is the tip of the spear in destroying the United States. Rather than actually protecting American Citizen’s rights, they’re too busy suing the state of Florida and Ron DeSantis over a law that restricts the amount of land foreign companies from hostile countries can purchase. No joke or exaggeration.
Unfortunately, I believe that @Enzo_T 's assessment is 100% spot on. Scary AF.
I am not advocating for the ACLU’s past actions. Though they have on occasion acted to actually protect important constitutional rights in the past. This includes at least one case of acting to protect the 1A rights of people practicing their 2A rights. Though in general they seem to forget how the English language works when it comes to the 2A.
All I am saying is that if they truly care about civil rights, as they claim to, this is a case they should be jumping all over. It infringes on the 4th amendment rights of a couple of million subway passengers each and every day that this policy is allowed to remain in place.
