Democratic Agenda 2024

You avoid facts like the plague. Go if you must, but if you stay, you might learn something, eventually.

Finally…a fact! Americans like the amendments and the constitution and do not want to live under anything that it (Harris) is proposing.

And to counter others. I have not seen anyone be mean/unkind/etc. People are simply cracking wise a bit…something VERY American.

Sweet Jesus! That’s two facts in one day. There’s hope!

I admire your guts here man.

I remember earlier on these pages, you shared your support for 2A related rights. I figured as much, that was possibly part of what drew your interest here.

This is kind of off topic, but not far from the main subject title. I got a pretty good job and have not yet found a better opportunity to move or relocate to another job elsewhere.

I mention that because where I live and work, I’m mostly surrounded by persons who are vocal about their political views per se. I feel outnumbered and un-welcomed around them. It’s not easy for me when I feel more non political.

But what I wanted to ask you, is “how do you cope or manage if and when you encounter others in your own life or work who feel very strongly against 2A rights”? Do you have to “lay low” so as not to be accosted by them? Do they ever try to argue with you?

Can’t be easy for you I imagine.

Personally, I avoid that confrontation, but when I can, I try to show calm and share how from a rights/freedom perspective, for some, it’s also about safety.

When I took my first CCL permit class, our students were from very varied backgrounds.

I hear you. In comparison, I’ve only recently begun learning and having interest in the firearms hobby, hunting and as a self defense resource. Yeah, an emotionally laden topic indeed, especially in person. I’m careful around such conversations at the homefront too.

Yes but nobody is agreeing with him like he has the plague. Besides I like somebody to pee next to me. This forum should be fun for ALL responsibly armed Americans despite their political views.

As opposed to

“Rather having someone, in our tent, peeing outward; Instead of outside of our tent, peeing inward on us”?

Not sure of I captured that old saying correctly brother.

LOL.

The video is irrelevant. The data is in the comments.

The data is in the comments?

“Aawwww so much joy” “happy endorphins”?

I had my audio muted, but she looks like a supervillain about to push the big red button that blows up the moon, except that this is real life, and she’s about to kill America.

I never stated that he was. However, those that have a brain and use it, don’t believe the Democratic party is helping our country, except into ruin - high inflation, high unemployment, high food and fuel costs, unchecked mass illegal immigration, wars, etc. Biden and Kamala are definitely not good for the USA.

I’m not sure that’s possible, given how much people’s political views interfere with my right to be a responsibly armed American. And it tends to be Democrats who are stomping all over our rights. Like I’ve said previously, I don’t know how any sane person who cares about our 2A rights can support Kamala Harris. Being a lifelong resident of California, I’ve seen the damage she’s done to our rights.

Look at all the court cases that are trying to restore our 2A rights and you’ll see that it’s Democrats enacting these laws. I don’t know how you separate political views from being a responsibly armed American.

I have a pretty hard time for anyone who would vote for a candidate, regardless of party or level, who is against 1st or 2nd. Seems to me that we should not have any candidates like that.

The object

Make no mistake it is not their political views that interfere with your right to be responsibly armed. It is their view on being responsibly armed.
Maybe if we if we have people on the forum who are democrats and republicans and are responsibly armed we would have more power.

Strength in numbers.

Well that would be nice if it was grounded in reality. That might have been possible back in the 50s. But the reason for this thread is “Democratic Agenda 2024” and the link that William initially provided makes it pretty clear that it is very much about their political views. It’s filled with “assault” weapon bans, magazine capacity restrictions, and “common sense gun control” initiatives. What has the only real impact on my rights are the politicians who pass insane laws, issue insane executive orders, appoint people to various agencies who make up new rules without authorization from elected politicians, etc., etc. A random Democrat here or there who doesn’t “like” the DNC agenda on magazine capacity restrictions, but still votes for Democrats is very much a part of the problem. It doesn’t mean diddly squat for a handful of Democrats to say they oppose a new AWB on a community forum. If they vote for Kamala and other Democrats, we STILL end up with a new AWB.

It seem to me we need more responsibly armed democrats that aren’t go to vote away there rights. Then the democratic politicians would have to be pro gun rights to get their votes.
