Tourism is down the drain and I RARELY see a Cop. My local Station house is CLOSED overnight! I hear Ambulances/Fire ALL the time. Going from one DUI/Distracted driver, Bar fights, Crime after another. It’s CONSTANT.
This is just my opinion, I believe the Blu-leaning folks are starting to ‘come around’ to the notion of Self Defense’, Concealed/Open Carry. Forget the Woke/Extreme Leftist’s they will never see the light till some ‘Banger’ sticks a Gun in their faces and they then have a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment!.

The Woman on the other side of the pumps laughed openly @ her. She came around and showed the Woman her ‘Lady Smith’ Pink .38 Revolver. (still holstered on her hip folks calm down). Some folk’s out here just ‘don’t get it yet …still’.
Because we live on the ‘Westside’ of town some feel we are safe(r). LOUD ERROR BUZZER! goes off. Our ‘Mall’ is Empty! but not closed a smattering of stores are hold outs to the inevitable. Like the Remake flick Snyder’s ‘Dawn of the dead’ mall.(200 yards from where I fuel up).There are (6) unmanned ‘Surveillance’…um…‘Stations’ around the almost vacant mall. They look like construction Generators with 'Terrifying blue blinking lights on top. There is another Construction cart that ‘Warns’ ‘BAIT CAR’ in area— Don’t break into cars Crims because it might be a Police set-up—but there’s no Cop to respond to your Car Jacking, Vehicle theft, Mugging, MURDER. That constitutes our Police force for holiday shoppers (who don’t show up anymore).
And some (prolly a well meaning citizen has a curious look on their face and asks rather politely ‘why I need to carry a Gun’ still? It boggles my mind.

With this NEW BREED .gov coming in I pray it gets better…FAST! or we will have pockets of ‘MAD MAX’ areas where no human with a brain (that leaves out 40% of the population) would venture. The open Desert with it’s snakes, Tarantula’s, Vulture’s etc will be safer.

I’m glad I was raised not to look at skin color or anything else just judge people on how they act and treat you. I was also taught don’t trust anyone until they prove they are trustworthy.
We live in Maryland, and only 12 miles from downtown Baltimore and have not gone there in at least 10 years. Do to the Crime !! Murders, Car Jackings etc. The juvenile thugs get caught the PD. books them then HAS to take them home !! Last week on the news they took 2 juvies home at 10 then re-arrested them at 12:30 for the same type of crime. My wife and I both carry, Neither one of us are afraid to react to the thugs, That is one reason we both have “Carry” insurance, We don’t trust anyone in the city the real sad thing is the thugs are expanding their territories.
That’s why I said I won’t help other people in a jam unless it a old person who can’t defend themselves or a young one that can’t, other adults can carry something like I do. If you think especially in a place like NYC or any other big crowded city where the crazies are allowed to run free is that safe then you are a fool with your head in the clouds, but I’m not going to prison for your dumb azz nope not me find another crusader.
