if the Gun Store doesn’t have this:

A 2025-11-01 20-03-16

then illegal recordings may be excluded from court under “The Exclusionary Rule” which prevents the use of illegally obtained evidence.

I don’t care if I’m being recorded or no as long as the camera is not looking at me when I’m playing with my firearm in bathroom.

It’s amazing what can be done with any video clip, anymore. A coworker prompted a new free program on his phone to make a video of an exit sign that we had just installed(particularly challenging in this case) falling to the ground and less then five minutes later it generated a short clip of this exit sign first swinging a little then falling. Then he asked it to make a video of him playing a video game with Jake Paul. Five minutes later it generated with a combination of the videos he had in his phone and clips from the internet a genuine looking video of this guy playing a video game with Jake Paul. Imagine the capabilities of someone with more capable programming. Moving forward I think video taping anyone anywhere needs to be highly regulated. There should most definitely be permissions and permits for shooting, videos that is.

Thx God AI generated videos are easy to be recognized as fake.
However if it continues going this way we may have a huge problem in few years with video and audio evidence…

For me it changes nothing… I don’t see any reason buying another firearm. :slightly_smiling_face:

Note to self:

Inhale helium and wear Bubba teeth and dark glasses when buying my next gun.

There is always a time for each of us, when we reach the top in a certain field of our life.
I am at this moment in the firearm filed - after 7 years I finally found “The One” (actually there are 3 of them :joy:) and for last 20 months or so I wasn’t able to find any reason to buy a new firearm, either to have another one (I don’t think I need another one) or replace my existing tools.

Of course I’m always testing a new products. Some of them impress me, some of them disappoint me. I like to be up to date with all new tools… but so far nothing that would make me buy a new firearm.

Actually… I’m very sorry for all the people living in CA, MA, NY or HI.
I cannot complain about Gun Laws in IL… these are as they are, but I’m still able to legally defend myself without fear of being unfairly judged. I can still posses enough ammo to go for a War, just need big bag.

Well, I guess if I had to be videotaped buying a gun I’d do it for something like the newer Q Honey Badger in .300blk but it’ll have to have one of their nice shushers on it, The Trash Panda🤣. Or, a proper lever action in 10mm. If those videos get out it can only make look cooler.

I believe this is happening in Washington State too. I will have to ask when I go to pick up a new gun. As much business gun stores are having I would not want to be the one having to go through the videos to check if all the T’s are crossed and all the I’s are dotted, and if Rays rash has cleared up from the last time he came in.
