Consumer Cellular

Does anyone use Consumer Cellular? AT&T is just way to expensive, I recently retired, so I am looking to trim some spending.

I have had mine for 4 years also. $38.00 a month for basic talk and text, just got a new phone to update for $80.00, so far so good. :+1:

‘CC’ by far a fairer deal than most others (caters to Gummers like me)
New ‘Moto’ phone replacement (3) mo’s ago for $85. NOT $300! Welcome back Brian!

No matter how much I have on hand, everytime I look at it, I think, “well that’s not enough to feel secure.” Same with food, fuel and water stores.

We’ve been using Mint Mobile for about 2 years now, Just for basic service, which is unlimited calls, and includes 5gb of data per month is $180 a year. I have never used more than 2gb of data in a month, so that is plenty for me. Also I think the quality of service depends on the area that you live.

But as far as your question, I haven’t tried Consumer Cellular yet. If Mint doesn’t work out in the future Consumer will be the next one to try.

Have you considered metropcs/T-mobile $25 a month?
