Tough diagnosis but happy to hear your testimony. We will put you on the prayer list.
I will be praying for you.
John 11:25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”
I Peter 2:24 Who his own self bears our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.
I have to ask forgiveness, it was not one but now two ‘prognosis’ however, I’m trying to understand that.
I’m not sure what kind of doctors you have/known but doctors always don’t give me the time of day. It seems sad but all it seems since E.R. and left before they wanted me too now they could care less.
I’m stuck weighing heath and life demands insurance again, I don’t have sick time until year. Plus school assignment was due.
But even as teen he/specialist for thyroids[you can search name of name of specialty forgot name of specialty] walk in the room and walk out that’s why never really cared anyway. OH, and growing up, had great A insurance because my guardian was an R.N. but still. For crying out loud the one that took care of me as a kid said from the account of the nurse, "Dr. ***** only took you as a patient doing your grandma a favor when she asked him 15+ years ago.
want’s to play games with me and this had to be true because never brought that up.
Time to make a plan. IMO, the ER doc’s priority is to make sure you are not under immediate life threatening conditions. I’m assuming you spoke to a specialist that gave you a diagnosis. The specialist should have a better understanding, explanation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations than the ER doc (generally). After diagnosis, it might help to research the condition, assess the immediacy of treatment, treatment options, research related surgeons/specialists in that field, and see what your insurance will cover.
Also see if your insurance will cover a second opinion (preferably from a specialist other than your doctor that said “I spoke with a colleague.” If you are not covered for treatment, speak to a social worker (many hospitals have a department that helps find financial programs or other help) and see what financial options or state/fed programs you might qualify for in your situation.
Another avenue to consider is to speak with your university’s disability program office to see if there is anything they can do, such as work around your schedule related to medical procedures, financial assistance, etc.

Thank you, sir! You are an MD yourself, right?
They are putting me on propranolol --20 mg tablet 3x per day and metronidazole the same as the dose as latter.
The specialist is more friendly and they said identical things as you mention [In regards to more opinions] I find this rather scary but do relies on it’s my heart so they would like me to hear it from as many professionals as possible.
My insurance is trying to investigate if this was a prior diagnosis. Which they can have fun and take a long walk off a very long pier!
I recalled being young when diagnosed with HYPERTHYROIDISM but got serious due to chest pain right before 23rd B-Day. Of course, those were some of my grandmas last year as R.N. so she had 100% insurance through Promise Hospital. But. even if so now, I’m 27, therefore, would have disqualified me.
The issue now, I recall my Endocrinologist being super concerned and, I didn’t take it seriously [Found the name lol] I almost said, Oncologist
Lastly, thank you and all the health professionals! Sometimes it’s easy to forget the VALUE of their job. No money, no negotiations and certainly all my guns did not even matter at that moment[Just kidding, I asked God if Yawanda could join us in heaven but was quickly reminded no evil exists haha jk—But for any who might be offended at humor, please don’t! I need it right now!]
I’m not a doctor. However, my undergrad was premed, I volunteered on the ambulance, I spent a few years in graduate school studying and training in cardiovascular physiology until I had to leave due to my parents medical issues and ended up pursuing an MBA. Many in my family are doctors, pharmacists, nurses, etc. Additionally, I’ve dealt with my own medical conditions and changing doctors/hospitals/etc. over the years.
Bottom line, there is a lot of info out there. Work with your insurance. Find places that specialize in your condition if possible. Many hospitals have departments set up to assist patients on finding the financial means for medical procedures when times are tough (maybe the specialist could refer you). Cross reference which doctors your insurance will allow (usually requires a referral from a primary) with hospitals or doctors offices ranked high for your procedure.

Read,“Becoming Supernatural” by Dr. Joe Dispenza
I just prayed for you brother. CHF is not a death sentence but combined with your hyperthyroidism it will require lifestyle changes which I’m sure you are aware of. My youngest son is a Pharmacist and one time he said something to me that stuck in my head. He said, “Dad, everything in medicine is a balancing act.
Once they find the right meds and combos you can go on for a very long time.”
Since man is both physical AND spiritual, one must put good nutrients into our physical body which requires constant vigilance (my weakness is Hostess Cupcakes) and one must feed your soul with the promises of God which also requires constant vigilance. My fav is Romans 8:31. My life verse is James 1:2-4
You are strong my brother even if your body is frail you are strong. 2Corin 12:9 .
I’m not here to preach. I just want you know you have friends pleading your case in high places.
Hope you will be able to get to the range soon to have some fun. (I don’t always have my nose in the Bible
)
Peace my friend.
Mark Anderson
I love preaching, so step on those toes!

Your words are appreciated and you 110% correct…It’s something they are balancing with medication. I realized the medicine was serious when the pharmacist actually called me…Ask your son on his opinion of Methimazole…
Beta-blocker, I took before…Sometimes it makes me sleepy…
Again, thank you, sir! It’s good to awake to some encouragement on Sunday!!
Blessings,
Randall W. Anderson
Randall,
I know bedside matter is important, BUT–my advice–get the treatment you need and deal with the doctor’s lack of personality later.
Are you sure you’re taking metronidiazole? That is an antibiotic for bad infections, and the dosing is signficantly different. There is an antithyroid med called methimazole that’s dosed around what you’re talking about.
Assuming you’re on methimazole and the beta blocker (propranolol), you’re getting what would be considered the standard of care. Here’s an article for you.
We will keep you in our prayers.
Yes! That’s it lol
Looks like I can’t pronounce it nor spell it!
5mg x3 as well the Propanal Thank you for letting me know its the standard of care!
It, makes me feel a little better!
I’m going to read the article now and do appreciate you, sir!!
Happy Sunday!
Randall,
Most people believe our Health Care system in the US is the worlds best! And it is, it charges more than any other countries health care system for services provided. That is the idea of corporate businesses, keep the shareholders satisfied with big profits that are always increasing. World wide the US rates in the high teens as to the quality of the care provided, not good at all. I have recently retired as a health care provider as a dental hygienist for over 30 years. Our practice used a phase contrast microscope as the primary tool to evaluate new and existing patients oral health. We knew exactly what types, numbers and activity of all the bacteria and protozoans people had in their mouth. And every person who came to our practice knew it too. Every time we took a sample from their mouth we could show them the live, moving bacteria in their mouth on a monitor connected to the microscope. Almost 1% of this countries dentists use a microscope in this manner. It is the only way to provide appropriate dental health care. If you can’t see what is causing the problem, you can’t treat it properly. The key methodology of providing the only effective care is to provide an easy, simple technique for people to treat their own oral condition. It cannot be successful any other way. As a dental health care provider we can clean a persons mouth every six months, three months if there are extensive gum infection issues. That level of care pales compared to peoples’ own ability to provide the same care that I could, but they do it every day! Bacteria in the mouth double every 5 hours and it has been calculated the numbers produced in 24 hours is 100 billion. I would suggest that is a low number. There is no way the health of an infected mouth (99% of mouths) can be improved with cleaning every three months, let along every six months. There is an awakening in a very few health care providers in America to really care for peoples’ health care needs. Look for holistic physicians not part of corporations, typically they do not accept insurance, which limits the level of care provided. The work that Dr. Joe Dispenza is currently doing had it’s start in 1989 and you can find other books he wrote and if you have Amazon Prime you can access the 12 episode series presented by Gaia titled, “Rewired” explaining the book, “Becoming Supernatural” and there are may videos on You tube of seminars he has conducted world wide. It is not easy becoming supernatural, but it will certainly be very worthwhile. I know if you apply yourself under the direction of Dr. Joe you can become healthy.
Enjoy the journey, Randall,
Gary
Thank you @Gary1
You make a valid point about our healthcare system and I try to push that point to socialist…
It never goes over well but I’m proud to have the healthcare we have and no matter what comes in this journey…
I’m proud of ALL my healthcare providers and APPRECIATE ALL SUPPORT! && Thank’s Gary10! By the way. one of my old good friends had the name Gary! Thanks again bud!
The truth is being obfuscated intentionally to create PANIC and it is working extremely well. It is all a LIE! The numbers are horribly skewed to elevate the number of deaths. Watch this evaluation of the date from the ONLY isolated petri dish of data available regarding #19.
https://trendmacro.com/videos/what-youre-not-hearing-about-covid-2019-panic
Watch it several times - there is a LOT of information My Luskin is presenting and he is an expert in numbers, financial actuarial mathematics, listen to him he is telling the truth with facts, real facts!
Listen to this German Doctor on the front lines in Germany. He too is using realistic numbers

and then watch this, several times
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MARVdS-pHdQ
He makes a third plea to stop the madness
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsExPrHCHbw
The efforts of a very few six people controlling the banks of the world are intentionally creating this panic to attempt to gain control. You can sit by and cow tow to the authorities to be “safe” to be a good citizen - citizen Kane. Or you can contact your state legislators, tell them it is all a lie. Send them these links and others you may discover. Tell them you want them to do their job, support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Serve the people.
What happens If you think this is all fiction, there is not way it is a lie, and you are wrong. We loose everything. What will you be thinking then?
What happens If you take action do everything you can to dispel the lies, write emails, call your representatives, organize the people, and you are right, it was the truth and 5000,000,000 people die world wide. You have lost nothing, maybe some friends to the virus. Do your research! Did you know we humans carry corona virus? YUP! Look at the name, covid #19. What does the name tell you? This is corona virus strain #19. What about #1-18? They didn’t name this #19 because it is the first coronal virus. And what about the other strains #20 and beyond? The truth is, our immune systems are great at defending our bodies against all bugs, viruses, attacks of all kinds. If you knew how many attacks our body’s systems have thwarted every day, you would be scared to death! Or maybe amazed.
The Spanish flu lasting from January 1918 to December 1920, “infected” about 500 million people – about a quarter of the world’s population at the time. These numbers are a guess because it is impossible to have accurate data. The death toll is “estimated” to have been anywhere from 17 million to 50 million, and possibly as high as 100 million, again all guesses because there is no way to have accurate, controlled, clinical data. You can only compile accurate clinical data with lab rats in a very controlled environment. So the obvious question in any run of the flu is, did these people really die from the flu? Did they die from some other cause and assumed to have died directly from the flu because it was “flu season?” That is what is happening here. Anyone who dies right now it is assumed it is a result of the flu. Millions of people die every year for any number of things not a flu.
2019 was the year it erupted…
