I had just read it on their website. It took a minute to realize it was about New York. I thought it was some federal proposal I had not heard about. Yes, the author did not make that clear at all.
Truly a scary law. Imagine CCW applicants being required to report on their social media accounts and posts and the legion of cops who would have to sift through that to decide whether the applicant was “worthy” of a CCW permit.
Too bad the standard the lawmakers seek to apply to CCW permit applicants is not applied to political candidates to determine whether they can run for office.
