That news story kind reminds me of the Air Force Security Police guarding the flightlines on the bases I was stationed at. Very little authority to do anything but harass flightline personnel for not having a restricted area badge displayed or some crap like that. If something happened where a show of force was required, it was “HALT!!! OR I’LL SAY HALT AGAIN!!”
They did not even have authority to return fire if fired upon.

Guam puts them significantly closer to the potential target than flying them out of home base in Missouri.
And it puts their flight path coming much closer to the support groups in the region.

and Defenses UP you were ‘Suppose’ to be safe.

‘I’m going to be a Fireman, A Cop a Baker’…I had NO IDEA!
I’ve said later on I came down here without a ‘PLAYBOOK!’ No friggn’ clue.
The ONLY time I knew what the DUCK was going on was in COMBAT (or WARZONE)
THAT is the only time this stupid world made sense to me
