Now that I have my CCW and am carrying outside the home I realize I need a safe in the car so I can keep my pistol secure in case I can’t carry at a secure/sensitive location. Recommendations for a safe/lockbox that is reliable? I live in Florida so it would need to be able to handle the heat. ---

That’s it. I have king cab, and there is one bolted to the floor behind the console, between the back seats. I can reach it from the driver seat. The other is stapped to the front seat frame. ---

I like this one because it is tall enough inside to house my holstered firearm. I don’t know what kind of car you have, but there are several companies out there that manufacture complete replacements for front door panels and center consoles that are very secure. Every other type has its own vulnerability. ---
