I was driving an old chevy truck to work when it blew a rod and I say it blew too. So much steam came out that the six cars behind me all crashed into each other. So it was not just a bad day for me! Word of cautions, DO NOT follow too close to the car in front of you or this too could happen to you!
Had a pick up throw a rod in front of me in Virginia, it was pouring rain. Couldn’t see with oil and water on the windshield, couldn’t steer or brake because of oil and water on the road. So I showed him, I wrecked into the back of his pick up, just as the guy behind me found my tail gate…
You were behind @Todd30 ? What are the odds?
WTF! Todd30, do you know how long it took me to get all of that oil off the windshield of my now bent pick up?
Do you know how much I invested into that truck to get me to work and back?
I have always driven a sports car/convertible.
I like my cars like I like my coffee. Fast and black
When I was young and had just moved out on my own, I had a mystery noise and went to a mechanic. I still remember his exact quote:
“Cars make noise. Just turn your radio up.”
Hot, fast, strong, and black.
Give me that car, that coffee, and that woman.
Any one of those three might kill me, but I’ll die a happy man.
