Costco has a NO Gun Policy—on their website/but no signage @ their entrances… so I conceal.

Last time I went they SAW my Concealed Handgun, Asked Politely to see my CCW, and we continued the business of checking in. To say I was pleasantly shocked was an understatement 
BUT it was a Saturday and I got a Lane of my choice///Hmmmmmm? I didn’t ask, but that seemed very strange to me it wasn’t PACKED (and the cost went up (Now $39.00!) to shoot. Sooooo maybe?..
I stayed there two weeks! (Kidding)
Any Business can price themselves out of said business, Just because you may be the only game in town doesn’t mean you can gouge the duck outta your shooters. They’ve made some MAJOR mistakes in their history and fortunately (for them) the Public was forgiving. Forty dollars seems exorbitant.
I will go West from now on to the Big Wide Open but that day it was raining and I wanted to shoot.
Lastly the kicker for me is they OBJECTED to me bringing in (3) Ar’s (in cases), Ammo in a separate box all legal eagle. What’s the difference how many weapons you bring through the door?.
I just can’t figure these folk’s out? If I brought (10) rifles in a little red wagon who am I hurting?—ok, that is extreme , but last time I got pushback from an ‘RO’ (REMF!) that whined I had too many handguns on my counter in my Lane? (There were (5) ) by the way. What’s too many?
My personal opinion is they are REALLY INTO a POWERTRIP, The only game in town (as I’ve stated)
and they just love busting chops. Not a way for me to shell out $350.00 for a Membership.
I wonder how that’s going for them in this economy?

I 100% agree, if people that carry concealed And people that have the authority at the doors of businesses wouldn’t make a big deal of it we would be just fine.

I concur. What they don’t know won’t hurt them. Not that I am saying we should support anti self defense companies.

I like the argument of;
Let’s think about this, I’m a legal concealed carry holder, so first I went through a background check to purchase my firearm…. Then I went through training and additional extensive background checks to get my permit. That says a LOT about who I am,… now what does your sign say about you?

So Mr./Ms. Businessperson would rather have a store full of armed criminals, with no responsible armed law abiding citizens in that store?

Maybe they was just “funnin” her. I thought the object of opening a business was to make money, not make moral judgements. Remember Jonny Cash with" I Don’t like it but I guess things happen that way"ba-dube-a dube-ba dube-a -dube. My father the preacher of course did not single out any one coming into his church. Live & let live. Making the cake does not equal acceptance of the life style. Of course most likely the 2 men possibly wanted to make a point, & trouble, so they were on a “crusade”.

As for the no gun signs
No guns signs do not have the force of law on private property . Failure to leave or disarm would only be trespassing. New language in H B 102 (2021) allows restricting the ability to carry on private property where the owner forbids it, but makes no mention of signage. You must be asked to leave or disarm; signs alone do not have the force of law. Hotel owners and landlords are prohibited by law from banning firearms, 70-24-110 .
The force of law in Montana
Certain owners of private property may choose to install no gun signs. However, these signs do not have legal effects. Although private landowners have the right to ask people carrying firearms to leave, firearms cannot be banned. However, you can be charged with trespassing if you refuse to leave after being asked by the owner or manager.
