Here it is on YouTube
And this is why Shopping Malls are dying on the vine.
As you just said (paraphrasing) Nothing in those Malls
is worth dying for.
NOT EVEN a ‘ANNIE’S PRETZEL!’ and I LOVE those suckers!
What’s a Shopping Mall
I remember hanging out in them in the 70’s!
Was THE place to be.
Meet up, hangout, pick up a chick, catch a flick and maybe pick up the latest and craziest at Spencers Gifts!
Back then, no one tried to kill you!
Haven’t been to a “mall” since 2010.
Haven’t been to a movie since 2012 ( Dark Knight Rises )
I will at times consider an outdoor outlet mall. Plenty of egress points!
Truth all that.
Per the Constitution of the United States of America, Amendment 1: “CONGRESS shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
I personally know of a town that declared itself an “Official Christian Town” and that Christianity is it’s official religion. Stating that the town is not Congress and also citing that SCOTUS officially declared the United States a “Christian Nation”.
Would you let a stranger enter your home armed? It’s private property, respect the rights of others. Your Constitutional rights end where mine begin.
Welcome to the family.
That’s an interesting question. My kids, my coaches, a couple of my neighbors? Yep they come over here armed all of the time. So to them I say Yes. Now if a face tattooed, baggy shorts, Raiders Jersey wearing thug came to my door gun in hand, the answer would be Nope. I guess, to me, from a business point of view, if you show up armed and don’t mean trouble or crime I’m alright with it. If you show up gun in hand yelling “Give Me You Wallet and Empty the cash register into this bag!” I’m not real good with that.
It just comes down to respecting the rights of others, my home is my castle, if i dont want you to have a firearm while in it, respect that. At the indoor shooting range i attend, all firearms must enter the building in a bag or case, and must stay in its bag or case till you reach your lane. Not because the owner hates firearms or the 2nd Amendment but it dramatically reduces his liability insurance costs. So i respect his rights by following his instructions while on his property.
How would you know if it is canceled? I Carry my life saving Tool out of respect for other people’s rights.
Welcome to the community. If I didn’t want you to carry a firearm in my home, I would have more respect for you if you did. Well unless you are some kind of lunatic.
@Papa_Zed
I have unconditional respect for everybody if their opinions are not moral I don’t have respect for their opinions. if my opinions were immoral, I would have less respect for somebody having respect for my immoral opinions.
That right there says it all. As my father said. “My house, my rules. If you want to make the rules, get your own damn house.”
I may not notice if concealed, but if i did notice it may end poorly for the person who refused to follow my request. My assumption would be that a person who refused to follow my instructions on my property wants to do me and my family harm.
Would it matter what the request was? If it was a request where people could do harm to them selves or others would you still blame them for not following your request?
If a person feels my request is unreasonable or unsafe, there is a very easy solution that accomodates both of us, they do not come into my house.
You wouldn’t actually make unreasonable or unsafe requests would you just so people could deny your requests? I just don’t get it.
My safety on my property comes before another persons feelings about what is unreasonable or unsafe on my property.
Well if you are not safe you can’t keep other people safe. My thought was that you were keeping yourself safe over other people’s safety. Maybe I got it wrong. I thought we were talking about not letting others carry firearms in your home. Sorry my bad.
What a lot of people are missing in this discussion is, Yes these businesses are private properties for them but they are inviting the public to come there to do business. If you invited the public to your place of business then they have the right to protect themselves. That is why my state created the Enhanced Carry permit. If you go to one of these businesses that has that stupid “No guns allowed” sign and they happen to see your weapon they can ask you to leave, if you don’t you can be cited for misdemeanor trespassing. I know of a business here that went out of business for that very reason. It was a specialty business that their competitor just down the street had the green “Firearms allowed” sign in their window. Guess which one me and just about everyone else went to?..yeah
Around here it seems a bit passive, there are very few “No Guns Allowed” signs anywhere. You’ll occasionally hear of a person getting thrown out of a place doing something stupid like flashing his gun around or talking about using it but for the most part, for now, it’s Come as you’re armed…". (See what I did there?)
