I just started reading a book by Ernest Emerson, The 7 Strategies of Hand-to-Hand Combat. So far the book is very intriguing, the information seems to make sense. I’d never heard of this guy before I ran into the book but he seems to be legit. Have any of our USCCA sisters and brothers ever heard of or studied any of Mr. Emerson’s stuff?

I own a few of Ernest Emerson’s knives. The Emerson CQC-7 is a classic. I have not read his books however.

The USCCA knife I purchased was the Kershaw Emerson, not sure if it’s the same person.
