With how far left the progressives have gone, he is almost a centrist/Blue Dog Democrat. He has even made favorable comparisons between Trump and Biden.

I think you stated that just right. I don’t think Maher has changed, he’s always been more liberal and he still is. But the Democratic Party itself is not kind to liberals, anymore. 20 years ago, folks would rant about what a left-wing loony Maher is. Today, he seems more reasonable, because there are people who go much farther, out into authoritarian territory.

Agreed! Definitely worth the watch. Many democrats and independents are seeing the reality of the current woke culture. Just a few years ago being woke was okay. It has turned into something totally opposite of what it started out to be. Being woke is supposed to mean being aware to reality. It is now pretty twisted from reality. Maher explains the current state of it.
