Yes, they do. They are our duly elected officials; they work for us. We are their employer. Not the corporations or their lobbyists. If the desire is to truly make America great again, this would be a fine place to start. A democratic republic is best served when its citizens are actively and informedly involved in civic life and a strong institutional framework of checks and balances, the rule of law, and the protection of individual rights is maintained. This also means how we conduct ourselves in the world at large.
