Retired Gunsmith here…If he broke two front sights, he sounds like the kind of Gunsmith that could break a ball bearing with a rubber mallet. Ask for your $$$ back, but don’t give this hack another chance to ruin your firearm. From there, take whatever action you think is reasonable to recover your money.

Thankfully I haven’t paid him anything. I called Trijicon to verify their shipping delays, and it’s true they can’t send anything out for another month. Still, I’m strongly considering buying the sights I wanted, and selling the Trijicon sights if he calls me should they actually arrive. I really don’t trust this guy.
