Are we in fact ready for Space Based Security and War? Looks like we may be lacking on the Deep Space Communication end of things…
“During the 10-day window of the Artemis II mission, the JWST operations plan currently assumes roughly a quarter of the usual Deep Space Network (DSN) access will be available,”
Until at least one country has a solution for the potential of “Kessler syndrome” I do not feel that humanity is at that level yet.
Meaning, for now, we are still very much kinetic warfare based, the majority of assets in space are communications and surveillance equipment, and on today’s battlefield shutting down communications is key.
Sure, America, China, possibly Russia and India may have the technology to “fry” a satellite in orbit and decommission it without damaging it.
However it would be a LOT easier and cheaper to just hit it with something else…..
Which leads to Kessler syndrome.
The country that has the solution to the syndrome will dominate space with the ability to keep the sky’s clear for just their own hardware.
Thanks to rat-bastard scientists like Carl Sagan, this planet has been BETRAYED - the information on the Voyager and Pioneer spacecraft have disclosed our location! You better hope that we don’t encounter a hostile, space-faring race in the future. Read Stephen Hawking’s wise WARNINGS regarding this! FYI
ANOTHER concern of mine is our piss-pathetic electrical grid. It’s split-up into only 3 major regions - it’s an anemic 30-years-old - and it’s fatally-vulnerable to CMEs and nuclear attacks. Research the “Carrington Event” of 1859, named after its discoverer. This is still the most enormous CME-generated, intense geomagnetic storm on record. Telegraph poles and railroad ties were set on FIRE. If a nuclear device was popped-off 200 miles above us, kiss your Aunt Fanny “Goodbye” - MILLIONS will DIE! Our grid needs to be upgraded and ARMORED - one way is the widespread use of Faraday cages - but as usual, we always wait to wind up with bloody noses!
Current Status of a Moon-Based Space Force Station
As of now, there is no operational U.S. Space Force station on the Moon. The U.S. Space Force, which oversees space operations, does not currently maintain a permanent lunar base. Instead, NASA’s Artemis program is the primary driver of human lunar activity, with a focus on returning astronauts to the Moon and establishing a sustained presence there as a military base secured by the United States Space Force.
