I AIWB carry at 1 oclock. I carry either a Taurus GX2 with a IWB Kydex holsteror a Glock19 gen 6 with a leather IWB holster both from We the People. This position is comfortable for me and gives me quick access.

I have found, as a 300+ lb guy, that I can’t carry appendix right up front but 1:30-2:00 feels great and conceals the best.

AIWB is the most common for me. I’ve found that some holsters sit the pistol too low for proper grip. Additionally, I use both a wedge and claw to minimize printing.

Favorite alternative is 3 o’clock OWB but attire limited. I also wish they made a Galco Fletch for my preferred CCW, as it is the only 5 o’clock holster that I’ve tried (including IWB) that both doesn’t print that much and is super comfortable.

I have a kidney transplant where the muzzle would be pointing, so NO.

Additionally, as I’m an unbuttoned shirt for cover guy, my sidearm would constantly be at risk of exposure.

I’ll stick with 4:00 OWB, or, if needed, strong side pocket carry.

This can happen regardless of carrying method.

I actually witnessed ND while guy was holstering his Glock to kydex OWB holster at 3 o’clock - the easiest and safest carrying method.
