This won’t make Reader’s Digest, but it’s still funny to me after all these years. I’m not big on colognes, but one of my favorites used to be Canoe. Noticing the bottle I had was almost empty one day, I used it up and went to work. Going up to a woman I worked with, I said, “Tylah, I need your professional opinion - is this cologne workin’, or should I get a puppy?” Without a hitch, she replied, “Get a puppy.” I cracked up. By the way, if any of you are looking for older colognes that you can’t find, check out the Fragrance X website - I found Lagerfeld Classic and Royal Copenhagen - in several sizes, and dozens of others.
