I’m glad that doesn’t apply to defensive shooting. I’ve been using variety of different ammo recently and I haven’t seen any changes with accuracy. Bad ammo, good ammo, great ammo, cold barrel, warm barrel, hot barrel - all the same up to 30 - 35 feet distance.
