This can’t be real. “Our estimates were it was probably still doing 150mph, maybe 250mph…” What sort of writing is that?

Citroen DS was a good flying machine…

Looks Porsche 911 Turbo doesn’t do that job very well…

Keep your car on the ground, where it belongs…

It was not writing, it was a quote from Jamie Champkin from Motorsport UK, who apparently was at the scene - there are a lot of guesstimates in his comment.

The car became airborne very quickly, it travelled 513 metres before coming to a rest. The minute it is in the air, there’s no friction, apart from air friction, to restrain its speed in any way. Our estimates were it was probably still doing 150mph, maybe 250mph, but it hit the ground and our very basic calculations would suggest an impact force may be as high as 37,000lbs, or 218 times Mr Eisenberg’s body weight.

Well, my take is this guy crashed hard on a turbine motorcycle (jay leno has one iirc), then died in a 911 turbo…so perhaps he should have stuck to normally aspirated or supercharged internal combustion vehicles, or electric I suppose. Turbines and turbos bad juju for this guy…and as the lizard king once mentioned, keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel.
