A place for a cleaning kit

I’d really like to keep my cleaning kits in some sort of organized container.
I’ve used GI ammo cans, various cardboard boxes, plastic fishing tackle boxes, or just sitting loose on a shelf. Some are close, but none of them I’ve found to be ideal
I have segregated my handgun cleaning kit from my shotgun cleaning kit and my rifle cleaning kit, and that’s doable, but I just want to come home from the range and open a box with everything I need to clean whatever I’ve been shooting in one place.
Where and how do you keep your gun cleaning supplies?

I have a 4 drawer dresser that I arrange… OK I’ll be honest, That I Stuff my rods, patches, rags, solvent and oil into. Not real organized but I always know where it all is.

I’m moving to the Otis cleaning kits. Pull through cables with pre-cut patches. Takes up way less room than rods and old, cut up t-shirts.

Same here, plastic containers with lid.

What are cleaning supplies? :joy:

Oh… those magic fluids which we pour over the firearm and cloth used to wipe it off?
I keep those in range bag insert (which is not needed at the range) and store in a shelf in my basement where I clean my firearms.

Recently I reduced my cleaning stuff to CLP wipes, Microfiber Cloth and Brass Rod.
I stopped using patches, cleaners, oils, greases and now I keep maintenance fast and simple.

I’m guessing all of us are organized enough to keep everything in one place.
Oops… I missed @Mike164 post… so most of us, not all of us then… :joy:

Individual kits with each firearm

If I can find it, who cares what it looks like!
The cleanest shop doesn’t always mean the most efficient!

If only my cleaning space looked like that. I use my home office. All my cleaning supplies are stored on book shelves!

I’m impressed with the tiny size of the Arex Delta pistol cleaning kit that comes with the gun.
All in a capsule not much bigger than your finger.

Costco ammo can 4-pack with tray for $19.00. I bought 4 sets and have them sitting on wire shelving in my “room.” Used highlighter to label contents. I’m getting 4 more sets for miscellaneous small parts, fasteners, small/precision tools, holster parts/hardware, etc.

I found the biggest Craftsman plastic tool box they made and bought 4 of them. I also have another 20 gallon heavy duty tub full of spares/excess and misc cleaning stuff. Still not enough…
