A "Forgotten" Security Feature

A third security feature for the FALCO “ROTO” “Outdoorsman” holster I’ve proposed is the “quick-flap” that was an optional feature on the vintage, Model 100 George Lawrence holsters. Photos of this are hard to find, but one is on “Vintage Gun Leather Today”, sponsored by Facebook. The half-flap still covers and protects the gun, while the reversed snap-strap functions as a thumb-break. During its tenure as a holster-maker, Lawrence was the only maker offering three finishes - black, brown, and a dark burgundy - which became their “signature” finish. FYI
