If you’re weary of reality shows or reruns of Walker - Texas Horse Turd, two of the funniest films you can watch are MY FAVORITE YEAR and NINE TO FIVE. MY FAVORITE YEAR is set in the '50s, and is based on Sid Caesar’s Show of Shows - I think Peter O’Toole was nominated for this one. NINE TO FIVE is a throwback to comedies in the '40s, and is remarkable at how the main characters play off each other, in a film that looks like it was really fun to shoot. FYI
