Move over Nigeria, California is getting in on the scam letter game too!
California needs every penny it can get, no matter the source or the means.
I would love to visit CA again but it will not happen until there are some serious changes there.
California is so broke that the government will resort to almost ANYTHING to bring in cash. I was in CA for a few days back in '80. I didn’t leave anything there, so I don’t see any reason for me to ever go again.
I know they have a bunch of different harbors out there in California…anyone got any tea? 
It may be funny, but as an accountant, I can tell you California is completely serious in it’s high handed tax collections. I have personal knowledge of a man in the Mid West, who was forced to pay a substantial amount in taxes on a deal he brokered over the internet, while he was at LAX airport waiting for a connecting flight.
