“A drop on the barrel hood and the cocking block are needed.”

What is the “cocking block” ? I am not familiar with that term … and an internet search provided no help.

The cocking block is the part on the bottom of the slide that actually catches the lip of the cartridge rim and feeds it into the chamber. Lube the line of the cocking block, not the end where it meets the cartridge.
