A 21st-Century Revolver

My proposal would include the features I’ve previously ranted about. Every bit of steel - even the SPRINGS - should undergo cryo-quenching. The triple-locked cylinder should have shallow, concave channels between the cylinder-stop indexes/cutouts - polished and left in-the-white, this feature would eliminate drag, and the ugly ring it develops - I saw this once on a customized SA, and a close example of it on a Python cylinder. POLYGONAL rifling and a Melonite or Cerakote finish should be included. Better choices for aftermarket sights - I prefer the TruGlo designs - should exist - at least COMBAT fixed and adjustable types. And there you have it!

NO - these are STANDARD features I want to see. Price an S & W N-frame today - they go for $1,200 or more - are they BETTER than past models? Utilizing economies of scale, the cost would be spread out, over the number of guns produced and sold over a year. Gunmakers should be offering us the most modern advances available to us, or get outta town!
