I am loading 200 grain HP .45s with 5.6 grains of red dot gunpowder. It goes at 850 fps
185 grain rounds go from 900 to 950 fps.

My 45 holds 8, my 9mm holds 9. I carry 2 spare mags. Unless you are up against multiple adversaries you won’t need the extra, unless you are a poor shot.
My .45 carries 13 rounds. I am good!
So does my G30(G21 magazine)
25 rounds if I use the extended mags. G21
FNX is 15+1 or still 15+1 because of Colorados stupid magazine limit. 
Good thing I bought all my ar10-15 magazines before that law! 
I too have to deal with 10 round magazine laws but, I have a .45 CMMG Banshee that uses Glock magazines and I had the 13 and 25 round magazines for it, so I felt compelled to but me a Glock 21 because I already had the magazines for it. 
You bought the Banshee which uses larger capacity magazines so you could purchase a pistol in a caliber that you like that takes the same magazines?
