220 gr hard cast in my 10mm has been my go to for a long time for wilderness back up.

OR you could ask yourself, If a Grizzly bear was charging you which one would you want to have to protect yourself? How many rounds in a 10 MM? How many rounds in your .45?

I live in black and griz country before I moved here I only had blacks and carried a 44 with hardcast. When I got here I said hmm these critters are quite a bit bigger so I started carrying a 454 with nosler partitions still a 45 right :grin::grin::grin: BTW one of the few pistol rounds that can benefit from partitions as far as I’m concerned

17 to be exact but if you look at the ballistics, 10mm has more energy than the 45acp also.
