2A Mississippi causing an uproar

Here’s your favorite or most hated patriotic veteran with your second amendment update. Mississippi has prohibited the discrimination of MMJ Users.
Mississippi SB 2095 Section 8 Subsection (3)
A registered qualifying patient or registered designated caregiver shall not be denied the right to own, purchase or possess a firearm, firearm accessory or ammunition based solely on his or her status as a registered qualifying patient or registered designated caregiver. No state or local agency, municipal or county governing authority shall restrict, revoke, suspend or otherwise infringe upon the right of a person to own, purchase or possess a firearm, firearm accessory or ammunition or any related firearms license or certification based solely on his or her status as a registered qualifying patient or registered designated caregiver.

Good, but…

…watch out for the feds — generally speaking they are not inclined to honor what they consider meddling in their own sock drawer.

I may not be current, but appearances from the Free State of Oregon is that feds don’t chase around after state-legal users — but they will roll you up with Schedule 1 if you come to their attention on another matter. Local agencies seem to vary in whether they “cooperate” with federal enforcement or follow the letter and spirit of state law.

None are free, until all are free.
