Here’s one to kick off this thread: fat man destroys Trump sign, loses his dog, then attacks a man and steals his phone.

As I see it, from the video, the person in the car is the aggressor. I perceive the car driver is not an officer. So when he saw destruction of property he could have called the police and gave identification of perpetrator.

The only aggression I saw the driver do was verbal. Which is 100% legal.
It was the sign wrecker and dog loser who initiated violence.
True, the driver could have called the police and left it at that. But the only thing the driver is guilty of is drawing some negative attention to himself.

I went to vote today and while the poll worker was putting the number on my ballot, some guy out in the hall very loudly started raising all kinds of h311. I turned around and couldn’t see him but did see a few people take off. It didn’t last very long but I was in there partially undressed so to speak and thought the crap was getting ready to engulf the fan. I turned back around and the poll worker was frozen in place.

By not lasting long, I assume the situation was diffused in a manner not involving physical harm to any innocent?

I don’t think anyone was harmed but there were at least a few running toward the door. Something I wasn’t expecting at all. The poll worker was completely frozen, I don’t know what he saw of the incident but his mouth was wide open and his eyes were frozen on the doorway. It took him a few seconds to start writing again.

I’m sorry that this happened, friend.
Every citizen should be able to cast their vote without fear, harassment, threat and certainly without violence.
I am ready for the election to be over, the transfer of power complete and the country to start healing.
That said, I am also prepared if it doesn’t.

This is a concern of mine this year. Mostly Florida does gun laws right, but one I totally disagree with is no concealed or open carry at polling places. Now, I live in a pretty red area, and it’s generally low crime, and my polling place is a quiet little community center, but I have never once seen any kind of security or officer there. Nothing. The poll workers are generally retiree, fairly elderly people, and everything has always been really pleasant and nice going to vote, but we either need to be allowed to carry, or there needs to be armed security.

This was my first time voting in FL so I don’t have prior years to compare it to, other than what my brother told me, but there was no security of any kind where I voted. Thankfully, it was a smooth and eventless process. I do wish that I/we were permitted to carry, I felt a little exposed which I didn’t care for.

And only people that are not from here . Think I am different and want a picture . Seriously they are going to take it no matter what .
