2 Party Government - Like it or not

“SALT LAKE CITY — Most Democratic candidates for Utah’s new — and very blue — 1st Congressional District participated in a town hall where they unanimously accused Israel of genocide, endorsed transgender treatments for minors and called for abolishing ICE.

The event on Monday, March 9, hosted by Black Lives Matter and 71 Percent Coalition, an anti-Israel advocacy group, showcased the competition among primary contenders to prove their progressive bona fides.”

“But the partisan pressures of a downtown Salt Lake City district, where Kamala Harris won by 23 percentage points in 2024, appear to be pushing candidates toward extreme positions that a new national poll suggests may be out of touch with most Democratic voters.”

They come to Utah and set up house keeping in Salt Lake County, draw election map boundaries to support their candidates then step out into the light of the public and go totally Far Left. Most of Utah want’s no part of this stuff but the liberal bastion of Utah, Salt Lake City still has their voice.

Sounds like VA these days.

Answering your question (edit, maybe not a question lol), I feel like we need Washington, Jefferson, Adams and company back. DC is full of out of touch lifers and up and coming socialist/ marxists, and keeping an eye on present and pending 2a infringements in some states (gun control is control) has me realizing we have lost our way. Edit to add, I’ve been watching house/senate stuff on “Fox Live” lately, out in the shed. Only good thing about those clowns is they get my adrenaline up which gets me in the mood to work out harder. If they got paid piecework they’d all be homeless. Reciprocity bill, anyone?
